He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer JC Sr. and Rachel Rice (Rockey); his wife Kathryn J. Heckathorn; his children, Wade JC Rice of Evart and Sherri L. Bancroft (Steven) of Evart; his grandchildren, Bethany Bancroft (family: Chelsea, Hunter, Trevor, Kiana) and Nikki Bancroft; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Wyatt Boyd; his grandchildren, Austin Bancroft (Natasha), Ethan Bancroft (Chelsea, family: Freeman, Tatum, McCoy), Joshua JC Rice and Harley Schmidt; his siblings, Jim Rice (Roberta) of Tustin, Winona Schonert (Charles) of Cadillac and Jean Roggow (Paul) of Reed City; and his daughter Kerri J. Rice. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
