He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hicks and Rhea Hicks (Gardner). He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Beth Redford (Doug), William Hicks (Sharla) and Barry Hicks (Suzie); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Andrea, Jordan, Aaron, Mark, Levi and Leslie. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to; Corewell Hospice, as they took great care of the family during this difficult time, Osceola County Commission on Aging or Faith Bible Church.
