With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Steig (Evart, Michigan), born in Clare, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Myers and Faye Myers (Strange); her siblings, Becky Courneya and Stephan Myers; and her brother-in-law Joseph Pease.
She is survived by: her former husband Arthur Baumgardner; her close friend Doug Steig; her children, Jim Baumgardner (Tracey) of Rodney and Artrena Whitfield (Robert Burkey) of Bay City; her grandchildren, Jordyn, Dillyn, Alyssia and Hailey; her siblings, Jeanette Chambers of Evart, Ronald Myers (Linda) of Sears, Patricia Grooms (Allen) of Sumter, Daniel Myers (Sue) of Durand, Deborah Hellenthal (Marty) of Evart and Dianna Pease of Evart; her brother-in-law John Courneya of Flint; her uncle Alfred Strange (Janet); and also, Brandy and Ryan Steig. She is also survived by many extended family and close friends.
