He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruce Cass and Muriel Cass (Shannon); his wife Betty Christie; his children, Scott Cass of Grant Center, Kelly Decker (Jim) of Reed City, Terrie Halladay (David) of Kalamazoo, Randy Cass (Julie) of Hersey, Tracey Spurbeck (David) of Evart, Steven Cass (Laura) of Evart and Jodi Boden (Jack) of Hersey; his sister Dorothy Tryon; his sisters-in-law, MaryLou Cass, Alice Cass, Audrey Rodenish (Joseph) and Diane Erickson; his daughter Sheryl Cass of Evart; his granddaughter Stephanie Spurbeck; his siblings, Jean Landaker (Buzz), Donna Scroggins (Frank), Richard Cass (Lois), Harold Cass and Duane Cass; and his brother-in-law Pat Tryon (Thelma Cass). He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
