It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon LeRoy Adams Jr. of Evart, Michigan (formally of Frostproof , FL.) who passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2022, at the age of 60, surrounded by his family. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 17, 1961 to Leon and Darlene Adams. He worked many years doing various construction jobs.
He loved to ride his Harley and spend time with his grand children when he could. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Wanda Hannan and Georgiana Spohn and his brothers Randy Adams, Robert Adams and Thomas Adams. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Adams of Frostproof, FL. his children ; Bryan (Jennifer) Adams of Montana, Tashina (Matt) Armstrong of Big Rapids; Stepchildren; Samantha and Sarah Shahan ; 13 Grandchildren, and 4 step grandchildren, his siblings; Sisters: Delores Adams of Hersey, Cindy Ross of Prescott, Esther (Jerry) Simon of Evart, Kim (Richard) Elliott of Sumner, Kathy (John) Preston of Avoca, Deanna (Duane) Riley of Interlochen, Christie Austin of Gladwin; Brothers: Fred (Laurie) Adams of DeLeon Springs, FL.
Stan (Jan) Adams of Burton, Forrest Adams of Harrison, and Ron (Judy) Adams of Chesterfield; many nieces , nephews and great nieces, great nephews, numerous cousins. His friends from Florida: David, Bill, Randy, James, Frank and Wendy; and a very special friend Laura Adams of Beaverton. Cremation will take place with Clark / Stocking Funeral Home of Harrison, Michigan. celebration of life will be at a later date.
