She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swales and Vera Swales (Borden); and her siblings, Bill, Oris, Kenneth, Otis, Chuck Swales of Reed City and Betty Dickerson.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Chick, Josie Chick of Evart, John Chick Jr., Jeffery Chick of Evart and James Chick of Reed City; and her siblings, Maggie Roose (Robert) and Harold Swales (Susan) of Evart. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
