He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hubbard and Bessie Hubbard (Watson); his wife Marsha Hubbard; his granddaughter April; his great grandchild Willow; his brother Samuel; his daughter-in-law Teresa Hubbard; and his sister-in-law Sheila Dice.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Susan Hubbard; his children, Joseph W. Hubbard Jr. of Evart, Elainna S. Hemenway (Bob) of Evart and William A. Hubbard of Reed City; his siblings, Robert Dewitt (Ida) of Sears and Wiladeen Dewitt of Reed City; his uncle Franklin Watson of Lake; his sister-in-law Ronda Hemenway of Evart; and also, Shelly L. Ripley (Mikey) of Reed City, Beth A. Robinson (Craig) of Chase, Shannon M. Kozitzki (Scott) of Sears, Amanda M. Wiltse (Jeremiah) of Evart and Brent A. Hemenway (Brieanna) of Evart. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
