He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony and Genevieve Curtin (Fike); his son-in-law Bill Flachs; and his stepfather Frank Mills. He is survived by: his spouse Alice Curtin; his child Carolyn L. McLachlan; his wife Carolyn L. Curtin of Evart; his children, Rebecca Hirschman (Matt) of Ithaca, James McLachlan (Carolyn Vining) of Evart, Melanie Flachs of Evart, Chrissie Pearce (Bob) of Leslie, Laura Curtin of Mason and Craig Curtin (Jenna Lalick) of Belding; and his sisters, Judy Ausman (Mark) of Olympia, Jennie Leonard of Onondaga, Rose Marsh of Rives Junction, Diane Franklin (Terry Hanks) of Eaton Rapids and Debra Walters (Rick) of Eaton Rapids. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
