He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David and Ethel Margaret Schonert (Bush); and his brothers, Jack Schonert and Richard Schonert. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Schonert of Evart; his brother Charles Schonert (Winona) of Cadillac; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Schonert of Evart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces.
