He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Eaton and Florence Eaton (Hooker); his granddaughter Kinsley May; and his siblings, Lewis Eaton, Barbara Cisco and Marjorie Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Peterson; his children, Aaron (Carrie) of Weidman and Erica Henry (Thomas) of Evart; his grandchildren, Brayden, Ethen, Remington and Kyler; and his siblings, Henry Eaton (Judy), Wanda Hinojosa of Dearborn, Shirley Pope (David) of Evart and Sandra Eaton of Barryton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life honoring James Howard Eaton will take place once COVID restrictions are lifted.
