She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sr. Houck and Nina Houck (Robison); her brother Roy Houck Jr.; her stepsister Regina "Geannie" Duham; and her parents-in-law, William and Helen Swales.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Swales of Evart; her children, Stephanie Riley (Leonard) of Cement City, Chad Shephard of Clare and Laurie Morrone of Evart; her siblings, Bonnie Mapes (Steve) of Evart, Dale Houck (Eva) of Camden, Susan Black (Todd) of Rochester Hills, Kathy Currier (Dennis) of Burr Oak, Jay Sharp of Ravenna and Greg Sharp (Tracy) of Coldwater; her grandchildren, Michael, Eddie, Shawna, Matt, Kymberley, Elizabeth, Megan, Caleb and Mia; her great grandchildren, Amari and Kinsley; and her stepmother Sally Houck.
