Edwin Carmichael Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Carmichael of Evart, Michigan, born in Chippewa Lake, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Carmichael and Lula Carmichael (Closson); and his sisters, June Corey (Morris) and Edna Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Maddern; his children, John (Tonui) of Sears, David (Linda) of Evart and Dolores Akerley (Frank) of Mt. Washington, KY; his siblings, Marie Wilkerson (Frank) of Evart, Jim Carmichael (Judy) of Evart and Ned Carmichael (Reta) of Evart; and his brother-in-law Herb Johnson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
