With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Johnson of Evart, Michigan, who passed away on June 27, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Carmichael and Lulu Carmichael (Closson); her siblings, Stewart and June Corey; and her nephew Arthur Stewart.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert A. Johnson; her children, Douglas Johnson of Salem, AL, Dawn Keep (Joesph) of Harlem, GA and Merrick Johnson (Mary) of Decatur, GA.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Montoya (Stephen), Joshua Keep, Robin Barfield (Jason) and Jenna Matt (Jason); her great grandchildren, Canon, Nola Ann Montoya and George Barfield; her siblings, Edwin Carmichael (Linda), James Carmichael (Judy), Nedro Carmichael (Reta) and Marie Wilkerson (Frank); and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Johnson, John Lee, Shirley Johnson, Louise Hurdle (Clint) and Helen Aaron (Jack). She is also survived by aunts, a host of beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
