It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Shirley Benson of Evart, Michigan, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Shirley Benson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Sebring and Metha Sebring (Marks); her husband Lyle Opper; her brothers, Edsel (Loretta), Fay (Wanda) and Volney Sebring (Helen); and her sister-in-law Jean Sebring.

She is survived by: her children, Toni Rose of Cadillac, Scott Opper (Sherry) of Traverse City and Al's; her brothers, Larry "Butch" (Marilyn) of Holland and Gwenneth "Red" Sebring of Tennessee; her friend Elaine; and also, Jon Benson (Amy) of Blaine and Glen Benson of Evart.

“So very sorry for your loss of such a beautiful lady Donna was. She was a very dear friend of mine and I will never forget her. Donna was a blessing to me when I moved into the Senior Evart Housing apartments. She loved the color purple and so do I. She also loved putting puzzles together and I do too. She was my puzzle partner and always will be when ever I do a puzzle I will think of her. We will have good times again in heaven. I will love you always Donna Benson. Pat Miracle”
