It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Truxton of Evart, Michigan, born in Reed City, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis R. Truxton and Nina May Truxton (Sturdavant). He is survived by: his son David Truxton Jr. (Sara) of Traverse City; his granddaughter Mackenzie Truxton of Traverse City; his sister Elizabeth Catlin; and his nieces, Chris Rizor (Mike) and Leana Bieschke. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to the family to help pay for final expenses.
