He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice McCallum (Ginger) and Harland C. McCallum (Hardy); his brother Harland L. McCallum; and his uncle William McCallum. He is survived by: his wife Carla McCallum (Dague) of Valentine's Day; his son-in-law Justin; his daughter Leigha Compson (Justin); his grandsons, Miles and Graham Compson; his sister Marcia Ulrich (Mike); his cousins, George Corwin and Lori Wilson (Mark); his sister-in-law Ruth Jackson; his friend Richard "Dick" Coon; his caregiver Logan Merrick; and also Darryl.
