He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Young and Dora M. Young (Disney); and his siblings, Elizabeth McMahn, William Young, Nell Mauck and Thomas Young.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara A. McCallum; his wife Barb Young of Evart; and his sons, Rodney Young (Donna) of Waldorf and Terry Young (Sandy) of Evart. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
