She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Pifer and Phebe Pifer (Blackledge); and her husband Maurice. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Mapes (Robin) of Ocala and Steve Mapes (Bonnie) of Evart; her grandchildren, Sheri Gallinger (Bart) of Evart, Dawn Riggleman (Aaron) of Evart, Ashton Mears of Ocala and Shawn Mapes (Jessica) of Sopchoppy; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Lillie, Bella, Meah, Jayci, Oakley and Bodi; and her brother Max Pifer of McBain.
