It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Albert Benson (Evart, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Benson and Edith Benson (Stalker); and his former wife Linda Benson. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Donna S. Opper (Sebring); his wife Donna S. Benson; his sons, Jon Benson (Amy) of Blaine and Glen Benson of Evart; and his stepchildren, Toni Rose of Cadillac and Scott Opper of Traverse City. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations in Alan's name can be made to Calvary Baptist.
