She is survived by: her children, Craig Van Sumeren (Mary Jo) of Okemos and Beth Kiefer (David) of Birmingham; and her grandchildren, Charlie, Ben, George Van Sumeren, Claire, Kate, Lily Kiefer and Anna Van Sumeren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her caring neighbors.
