He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Smith and Elizabeth Smith (LeGault); and his wife Laurie Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Smith (Lona) and Arthur Smith (Rose); his grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Brendan, Cynthia, Meline (Kristin), Hoyt and Julia; his great grandchildren, Karsen, Gabby, Ben and Lakelynn; his siblings, Eugene Smith (Pam) and Laura Langenburg (Mike); his in-laws, Dave Webber (Kris), Stephanie Webber and Susan Herman (Mark); and his niece Christy Langenburg (Brian).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Bay County (821 N Pine Rd, Essexville, MI 48732). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
