He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gunther and Helen Gunther (Majeske); his spouse Germaine Joyce Fuger; his children, Robin Stephen (Michael), Jolene Ruff (Von M.), Lee Swan (Steve) and Daniel Gunther (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jacob Stephen, Brandon Stephen, Tamara Mancier (Matthew), Jamin Ruff, Mark Anthony Ruff (Juliana), Alyssa Navas (Oscar), Shara Gunther (Bradley Hilarski), Kassandra Lowry (Greg) and Tiffany Cage (Joshua); his sister-in-law Margaret Novak; his siblings, Alex Gunther, Melvin Gunther, Mildred Kent and Vivian Brenay; and his stepsister Marie McCormick. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
