He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Dottie Leggett (Ashley); his wife Christine; his children, Michael J. Leggett and Jennifer M. Leggett (Bradley Lawrence); his father Rev. John M. Leggett; his siblings, John A. Leggett (Ellie), Joseph R. Leggett (Wendy), Jerry D. Leggett (Patsy), Jeffrey C. Leggett (Gail) and Joyce Grigg (David); and his son Andrew C. Leggett. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
