It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Shannon (Essexville, Michigan), born in Caro, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Helen Marsh; his son Dustin; and his adoptive son Kyle Moffett. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Shannon; his children, Kennedy Moffett and Ethan Shannon; and his siblings, Janet Chenoweth, Donna Shannon, Harold Larsen, Doug Peters, Jim Noffsinger and Jay Smith. He is also survived by dogs, and a slew of barn cats.
A memorial is being planned for this summer after corona virus restrictions have been lifted and will be announced when that date has been set.
Those wishing to make an expression of grief are asked to consider a contribution to the Dustin Shannon Memorial Scholarship fund in lieu of flowers or gifts.
