She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Austin Socia, Tyler Socia and Kennedy Socia; and her sister Vivian Grappin. She is survived by: her husband James D. Socia; her children, Gary (Barb), Kevin (Lois), Jamie Nichols (Jim) and Chris (Laurie); her grandchildren, Colin, Brandon, Jarad, Amanda, Grant, Parker, Brittany, Brad and Cassidy; and her sister Arlene Obermiller of Geraldine DeShano.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
