We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, at the age of 75, Dennis Ray Poirier (Essexville, Michigan), born in Bay City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Poirier and Dorothy Poirier (Horan); and his brother Raymond James Poirier, II. He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Miksa; his children, Dennis Poirier, Jr. (Amanda) and Elizabeth Poirier; his grandchildren, Alex, Brynn Poirier, Brayden Pierson, Castell, Michael and Evelyn Hendricks; his sister Rene Pero (Mike); his nephews, Jamieson, Raymond, Alek, Drew, Joel Poirier, Matt and Adam Pero; and his in-laws, Tom, Ann, Rudi, Susan, Jim, Kim Miksa, Janet, Mark Boughner, Karen and Barry Neview. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (821 N Pine Rd, Essexville, MI 48732). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (614 Pine St, Essexville, MI 48732).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, Bay City Lions Club, or the Salvation Army.
