He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Patrick (Michelle) of Essexville and Noelle of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; his brother James Van Sumeren (Belma); his daughter Kristin; and his brother William Van Sumeren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
