It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Marie Smith of Essexville, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Smith and Mary Smith (Eager); her father-in-law Earl C. Smith (Grace); her granddaughter Jessie Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Emily Smith and Dean Prime.
She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Tony Smith (Terri), Lisa Tunney (Rob), Patrick Smith (Lisa Santoro), Lori Pfund (Gary) and Shannon Smith; her grandchildren, Barry Smith (Brittany), Halie Jobes (Austin), Kristen Fortine (Josh), Shaena Smith (Chad Bublitz), Chelsea Smith, Jaide Smith (Jessie), Miley Lawler, Kynzlee Gilbert and Bailey Hanczewski (Matt); her great grandchildren, Jayden, Layla, Brantley, Jules, Carter, Chloe, Kenyon, Gauge, Finley and Landyn; her siblings, Ann Maria Prime, Wayne Smith (Denise) and Paul Smith (Louise); and her close friends, Rocky Discher (John), Ben Smrecak (Carolyn), Marie Crete and Lois Walraven. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
