She was predeceased by: her parents, James Broom and Loraine Broom (Wenzig); and her siblings, Jimmy, Nancy, Joanne, Audrey, Eddie and David.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Johnson Sr.; her children, Jeremiah Broom (Brandi), Kenneth Johnson II, Christina Johnson (Dennis Quintel) and Daniel Johnson (April Homminga); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scotty, Chelsea, Brittney, Brianna, Destiny, Zachary, Daniel, Lisa and Timothy; and her sisters, Kathy Scharam, Judy Ingersoll (Guy) and Laura Nelson (Bill).
