He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Kernstock and Arlene Kernstock (Goulette); and his brothers, John Kernstock and Robert Morris. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Pero; his daughter Brianna Pischel (Justin); his siblings, Gary Kernstock, Don Kernstock (Linda), Tim Kernstock (Brenda), Leah McNulty (Ken) and Cindy Phillips; and his father-in-law Lawrence Pero.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Bay County (821 N Pine Rd, Essexville, MI 48732). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
