He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Johnson and Joyce Johnson of Escanaba; his daughters, Wendy Joy Thomas (Charles) of Midland, MI and Sarah Fay Malik of Whitefish Bay, WI; his wife Gloria Johnson of Wells; his son-in-law Charles Thomas; his grandchildren, Solomon Charles Thomas and Sadie Glorianna Thomas; his brother James Johnson (Jeanne); and his close friends, Dick of Escanaba and Judi LaCosse of Escanaba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Escanaba or the Beacon House of Marquette.
