He is survived by: his wife Carol Kanerva; his daughters, Lisa Schneider (Brian) of Appleton, WI and Brenda Nelson of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Kelsey Bustos, Lexi Priest (Jason) and Cassie Nelson (Ryne Van Stippen); his sister Pat Derkos (John) of Farmington Hills, MI; his nephews, Ron Spencer and Troy Derkos; and his niece Tammy Gaydovchik (Jason).
