It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Raymond Anderson of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Anderson and Wilma Anderson (Souminen); his wife Rita M. Reed; his daughter Gail; his sons-in-law, Daniel Chouinard and Timothy Carlson; and his siblings, Elmer, Roger Anderson, Leona Anderson and Beatrice Wilhem.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Chouinard of Riverland and Kim Carlson of Wells; his son-in-law Jay Anderson of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Mark Chouinard, Richard Chouinard, Matthew Chouinard, Kyle Chouinard, Nicole Kempsell, Simon Chouinard, Kasey Demers Courtney Lefleur, Brody Carlson Amanda Mogusar and Lucas Anderson; and his siblings, Harold "Spike" Anderson (Lois) of Green Bay, WI, Arthur Anderson (Lois) of L'Anse, MI and Florence Lewis (John) of Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren.
