We bid farewell to Michael J. Summers Sr. of Escanaba, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Summers and Mary Summers (Daily); and his son John Summers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Summers of Escanaba; his children, Diane Buckland (Mike), Mary Smith (Randy), Barbara Fleury (Walter), Karen Smith (Greg) and Michael Summers (Janice); his daughter-in-law Laurie Summers; and his sister Eleanor Artley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chippewa Indians Escannaba Community Center (3721 Gingob Road, Escanaba, MI 49829).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
