He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Summers and Mary Summers (Daily); and his son John Summers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Summers of Escanaba; his children, Diane Buckland (Mike), Mary Smith (Randy), Barbara Fleury (Walter), Karen Smith (Greg) and Michael Summers (Janice); his daughter-in-law Laurie Summers; and his sister Eleanor Artley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
