He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley John and Addie Lillian Stankovich (Carlson); and his brothers, Patrick Stankovich, Stanley Stankovich (Shirley), Leon Stankovich and William Stankovich.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stankovich of Escanaba, MI; his sons, Brent Stankovich of North Webster, IN and Brian Stankovich (Amber) of Howell, MI; his siblings, Shirley Watchorn and Walter Stankovich (Sherri) of Elkhart, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Stankovich and Karen Stankovich of Elkhart, IN. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
