She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fortin and Mary Fortin (James); her husband Roger "Shadow" Sundberg; her daughter Ann; her children-in-law, Robert Mankiewicz, Rick Harter and Betty Jo Fortin; her grandson Brent Martin; and her siblings, Virginia Mannila (Ed), Earl "Peto" Fortin (Hazel), Robert Fortin (Sharon), John Fortin, Clovis "Buck" Fortin (Carol), Terry Fortin, Albert Fortin and William Fortin (Lorraine).

She is survived by: her brother Ken Fortin of Ishpeming; and her sister-in-law Rita Fortin (Lois Fortin) of Marquette. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
