He is survived by : his wife Donna; his children, Craig Woerpel (Patty Bray Woerpel) of Escanaba, Mark Woerpel (Cindy Capra Woerpel) of Ellsworth, WI, Jeff Woerpel of Escanaba and Kristine Hovland; his son-in-law Dan of Escanaba; his sister Linda Radoll; his niece Cindy; his nephew Tim; his siblings-in-law, Ron Radoll and Sharon Reisner; his nieces and nephews, Jim, Heath (Yelisa) and Hue; his grandchildren, Lauren Hovland, Cameron Hovland, Karen Albrecht and Joanne Preston; his great grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Hannah and Norah Preston; and his nieces and nephews, Dale Rismeyer (Patti), Duane Rismeyer (Jaime), Amy Hjort (Kevin) and Wendy Zettinig.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 411 or Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba.
