She was predeceased by: her parents, William McCarthy and Edna McCarthy (Swanson); her daughter Debra Vietzke; and her siblings, Raymond, William, John, Charles McCarthy, Joyce Cappaert, Dorothy Koschka, Lorraine Oaldon and Marlene McCarthy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard (Dick); her daughters, Carol Hill (Bert), Mary Fischer (Willi) and Sandra (Sandy Vietzke); her grandchildren, Heidi Hill, Marla Evans (Gary), Nolan Hill, Nicholas Andrew (Nick) and Benjamin Andrew (Ben); her great grandchild Cameron Evans; and her brother James McCarthy.
