With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Verbrigghe (Escanaba, Michigan), who passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Belgian and Felice Verbrigghe (DeBaker); his siblings, Emil Verbrigghe, Martha Falkeis and Mary Hoffman; his siblings-in-law, Frank Falkeis, Marshall Judson, George Terrien, Duane Hoffman and Madeline Verbrigghe (Emil); and his cousin Andre Quaghebeur (Grace).
He is survived by: his grandsons, TJ and Brad; his nephew David Verbrigghe; his granddaughter Shannon (Green Bay Packer); his wife Everell Verbrigghe of St. Nicholas; his daughter Christine Lofquist (Tom) of Escanaba; his grandchildren, Tracy Maskart (Matt), Liza Soubel (Andrew), Nicole Osmolski (Joe), Jason Lofquist (Kacey) and Renee McNutt (Steve); his son Dan Verbrigghe (Karen) of St. Nicholas; his granddaughter Chelsea Gordon (Tim); his son Terry Verbrigghe (Mary) of St. Nicholas; his grandchildren, Bradley Verbrigghe and Tiffany Marenger (Sam); and his siblings, Cecilia Terrien of Cornell, Madeline Judson of Escanaba and Jerome Verbrigghe (Judy) of St. Nicholas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
