She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Oakman and Marie Oakman (Anderson); her husband Ernest Porath; and her siblings, Regina Zappia, Sylvia MacDonald and John Manley Oakman.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Gloria Houle (Ronald) of Escanaba; her grandchildren, Conroy Houle (Lucy) and Kim Houle; and her great grandchildren, MaKayla Wiedenhoeft (Josh) and Mary Leaf (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
