He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Masta and Mary Jane Masta (Rae); his siblings, Guy Liberty, Ronald "Red" Liberty, Leo Masta, Rose Marie Liberty and Virginia Forsberg (Floyd); and his brother-in-law Jack Majestic.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachael Schoen of Bark River; his close friend Susan "Sue" Schoen; his siblings, Angela Dubois (Rick), Betty Majestic, Ron Masta (Yolanda), Bonnie Potts and Mary Ott; and his sister-in-law Shirley Liberty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
