George H. Martinson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Martinson of Escanaba, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilding Martinson and Elvera Martinson (Wicklund); his siblings, Nancy Bolm, Bill Martinson, John Martinson and David Martinson; and his nephew Steven Martinson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Erickson; his sons, Greg Martinson of Escanaba, Chris Martinson (Denna) of Sarasota, FL, Dan Martinson (Laurie) of Appleton, WI and Andrew Martinson of Parrish, FL; and his siblings, James Martinson (Kathy) of Escanaba and Mary Thompson (Oral) of Escanaba. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 4:45 PM and at 5:00 PM.
