She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Houle of Escanaba, MI; her son Michael; and her siblings, Edward, Daniel, Paul, Beatrice and Eleanor.

She is survived by: her children, Steve (Terry), Tom (Reneé), David and Julie; her grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Jennifer (John), Sarah, Stephanie, Laura Gardner (Nick), Mark (Megan), Mary, Carolyn Bell (Nathan), Karen Wilson, Melissa, Clay and Hanna Pitts (Michael); her great grandchildren, Noah and Joshua Dyer; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah Moriarty and Henry; and her brothers, Art and Charles Arens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Christ the King Church Endowment Fund.
