With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel M. Blixt of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Bruce Crossing, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Swanson and Mildred Swanson (Orsborne); and her sisters, Charlotte Swanson and Mary Applekamp. She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Blixt; her daughters, Katri Blixt of Escanaba, Diane Miller (Terry) of Escanaba and Kelly Bourdeau (Dan) of Escanaba; her grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Carissa, Calvin, Kyle and Megan; her great grandchildren, Seth and Dante; and her sister Bonnie Hannemann (Mark) of Escanaba. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
