He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Shirley and Jean Shirley (Branson). He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Brooke Shirley (Mark) of Bark River and Todd Shirley (Tazio) of Pittsburgh, PA.; his grandson Ace of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Jay Shirley of San Diego, CA, Andrea Chiappisi (Jerry) of Philomath, OR and Sam Shirley of Mason, MI..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
