Though David has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herbst and Katherine Herbst (Larange); and his son Daniel Herbst. He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, David Herbst, Jr. and Helen Herbst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church (615 30th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
