It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel J. Arts Sr. of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Gladstone, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Joseph Sr. and Leona Mary Arts (LeDuc); and his siblings, Eddie Arts, Nancy Maier, Wayne Arts, Rita Nelson and Darlene LaChapelle.
He is survived by: his wife Marlis Frances Jones of Joseph's Church; his children, Michelle Stacey (Edward) of Escanaba, Ingrid Hampton (Jim) of Champaign, IL and Daniel Arts Jr. (Cheri) of Escanaba; his grandchildren, Keia Branstrom (Jason), Mandy Miller (JDe), Stashia Wery, Jason Swed (Kym), Bradley Arts (Hollie), Matthew Arts (Tamara), Kayla Arts and Kimberly Mineau (Jon); his sister Charlene Tenhagen; and his sister-in-law Shirley Arts. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Fernwood Cemetery.
