She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton J. Abel and Isabelle E. Abel (Reubens); her husband Tom of Patrick's Church; her daughter Pam Gregoire Downham; her siblings, Shirley Merrell and Ronnie Abel; and her grandparents, Henry and Leona Abel.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Gregoire (Mary Russell) of Escanaba, Paul Gregoire (Karn) of Rhodes, Patti Schrader (Paul) of Escanaba, Penny Gregoire (Michelle Gallagher) of St. Petersburg, FL, Polly Anderson (Dean) of Green Bay and Gloria Lark (Gary) of Escanaba; her grandchildren, Paul Gregoire Jr., Elise Whaley, Stephanie Gregoire, Erin Gregoire, Shelby Hardwick, Jessica Malo, Megan Furman, Laken Anderson and Hogan Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Quinn, Walker Whaley, Pryce, Kasen Gregoire, Lena, Edie, Mara Malo, Cameron Furman and Hank Hardwick.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (817 S Lincoln Rd, Escanaba, MI 49829).
