We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2023, at the age of 96, Adelore Gerou of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Lincoln Park, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelore Gerou and Nellie Gerou (Brouse); his wife Theresa Peterson; his son Anthony; and his siblings, William, Wilfred (Buck), Grace Schaefer, Lorraine Babcock and Charmaine Gerou.
He is survived by: his children, Al Gerou (Cathy), Gary Gerou (Julie), Mark Gerou (Kerry), Jim Gerou (Ruth), Mary Harvey (Joe), Anne Swedberg (John) and Teri McMaines; his sister-in-law Eunice Vandecaveye; his goddaughter Wendy Kriekels; and also Wendy Gerou. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
