It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Prayther (Erie, Michigan), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waverly Larkin Prayther and Virl Virginia Prayther (Hyman); his wife Darlene Carr; his son Timothy Prayther; his siblings, Ralph Prayther, Sybil Carter and Vicki Witfoth; and his brother-in-law Charles Witfoth.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Prayther (Joyce) of Newport and Roxanne Smith (Larry) of Temperance, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Mike Smith, Nicole Massingill (Tim), Cyndle Prayther, Roger Prayther, III (Sara), Timothy Prayther and Taran Ram (Greg). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
